TUTORIAL: Easy way to Capture Screenshot in Windows

Because we know that a picture is worth a thousand words, it can describe those things which we are unable to explain any other way. Without pictures it can be harder to write good articles. So today we are going to talk about how east it is to capture and edit screenshots of your desktop or active window on your Computer.

How to Take Screenshot

To simply capture the entire screen press the PRT SCR button on your keyboard and this will store a capture of your screen in memory for you to paste into an application of your choosing. If you would like to capture just the active window, hold down the ALT key while then pressing the PRT SCR button.  This will capture a screenshot of your active window. Now that you have copied the screenshot it’s time to edit it.

How to Edit Screenshot

Most applications that allow you to paste an image into them, have the ability to also edit the image in someway.  Select your favorite application you use to write documents or manipulate images, and once opened, simply press CTRL-V to paste your screenshot into it.  Once there your image can be resized  or cropped and then surrounded by any appropriate text.
